The
ICAA Association (International Crime-scene Analysis Association) is an
international non-profit cultural association with strong telematics being the
primary function in developing research and training about criminological and
investigative issues involving its members. The
members mainly belong to the Police and forensic civilians scientists. The ICAA
collaborates with several institutions and with several prestigious
international scientific societies and is home to training for college
students. The
ICAA at its headquarters in Switzerland has an extremely efficient computing
centre that supports research conducted by the Association throughout the
world. The
Association acquires and test instrumentation for the intervention at the crime
scene and designs innovative techniques in criminal investigating.
The International Crime-scene Analysis Association has inherited the tradition, know-how and the acronym (ICAA) of the International Crime Analysis Association, the prestigious Association founded in Italy in 2003 by the famous cop-criminologist Marco Strano and dissolved in 2013. A group of colleagues, collaborators and students of Marco Strano gave birth in 2014 to the new partnership, more oriented towards the forensic science and criminalistics. Many of the older members have passed in the new group that already 'have locations in several countries including Switzerland (its headquarters), Spain, Colombia, Australia, Bolivia, Romania, Albania, South Africa and Italy. The first President of the new ICAA is the ballistic Paul Gebbia. The Association has as its primary purpose the creation and dissemination of guideline forensic investigators from around the world.
La International Crime-scene Analysis Association ha heredado la tradición, el saber hacer y el acrónimo (ICAA) de la International Crime Analysis Association, la prestigiosa Asociación fundada en Italia en 2003 por el famoso policía – criminólogo Dr. Marco Strano y desintegrada en el 2013. Un grupo de colegas, colaboradores y estudiantes de Marco Strano dio vida en el 2014 a la nueva corporación, orientada objetivamente hacia las ciencias forenses y la criminalística. Muchos de los antiguos socios han pasado a la nueva entidad que ya tiene sedes en varios países del mundo, entre ellos Suiza (su base o cuartel general), España, Colombia, Australia, Bolivia, Rumanía, Albania, Sur África e Italia. El primer presidente de la nueva ICAA es el balístico Paul Gebbia. La Asociación tiene como objetivo principal la creación y la difusión de guías líneas forenses entre los investigadores de todo el mundo.
